When did you decide you wanted to start acting? I started acting when I was thirteen. Have you always acted? No not always... I grew up playing sports mostly (Football and Hockey). I also got into music at a very young age and I was even in a couple of bands. I think that's where the performer in me started to come alive... acting was just the natural progression of things. Do you look up to any other actors? My idol is the late Marlon Brando. Other actors that I look up to are: Johnny Depp, Robert Downey Jr., Sean Penn and Ralph Fiennes. On IMDB it says you worked on the Oil Rigs in Alberta for 8 years. What is an Oil Rig? and what did you do? Was it a hard job? An oil rig is the actual structure that drills into the earth in search of oil and gas. A rig is made up of several components that quite honestly the average person wouldn't understand... so, I'm not going to get too in depth on this subject. I could really talk for hours on end about working on the oil rigs... after all I was kind of born into it. My grandfather owned a drilling company and I'm actually a third generation oil rigger from a long line of family members before me. As for what I did on the rigs?... Well, my last job title on the rig was 'Rig Manager'. My brother and I were in charge of a rig together... he was the full time 'Rig Manager' and I was his relief. Was it a hard job?... More then you could imagine. In fact, most people who come out to an oil rig usually last no more than a week some don't even last their first day. It's not only one of the most physically demanding jobs... it's a life style. You said you're filming right now, what are you filming? I'm currently working on a movie titled 'Watchmen' which is being directed by Zack Snyder of '300'. Is acting a passion, a job, or both? It's definitely a passion above all else. Do you have any musical talents? Yes, I play the guitar and the drums. I've been told I'm a pretty good singer too... I think I'll leave that one up for debate though. How did you get into the acting business? I was approached by a drama instructor at my school who implored me to enrol in his class. I was thirteen at the time and thought I had nothing to lose... so I did it. I haven't stopped acting ever since, it's something that I feel extremely connected to. What is on you're iPod right now? Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Senses Fail, Story of the Year, Taking Back Sunday, Alexisonfire, Hawthorne Heights, Rise Against, Saosin, Silverstein, Sparta, Thrice, The Used, Thursday, Blindside, Funeral for a Friend Which The Best Years cast member is the nicest and easiest to get along with? All of them! What was it like the first day of shooting for The Best Years? What about the last day? Well, the first day I was in my underwear and the last day I was half naked in a shower... so I guess you could say I was a little cold. On The Best Years, Trent is, well was sort of a player, do you relate to that characteristic of Trent, do you relate to Trent at all? No, I dont relate to "The Player" characteristic of Trent. The majority of my personal relationships have been long term... whereasTrent's vocabulary probably doesn't even contain the term "Long Term". However, there are many things about Trent that I do relate to... Can fans expect a season 2 of The Best Years? No... It's been cancelled. What was it like to film a few episodes of Eureka? It was something that I really enjoyed doing. I hope to remain a part of that show... I had a ton of fun playing the character of "Zane". What's you're advice for aspiring actresses and actors? Count on yourself to make things happen for you and no one else. If you don't know without a doubt that you have what it takes... then you definitely don't. Do you relate to any of your roles? Yes, some more than others but I relate to all of my roles in one way or another. This may be a bit personal, but someone from byo forums wanted to know if you have a girlfriend, do you? No, I don't have a girlfriend... I just recently got out of a two year relationship that unfortunately we just couldn't make work anymore. Thank you again, for this! Ale na początku jest,że jest to rozmowa z aktorem filmu ' The best years' Dziennikarz pyta się kiedy zaczął swoją przygodę z aktorstwem,czy zawsze grał? On mówi,że zaczął jak mial 13 lat. Nie zawsze grał. Dorastał, grał w hokeja,futbol. Jak byl bardzo młody byl muzykiem itd. Pyta się tez o to, jak przytrzy na innych aktorów. On mówi,ze jego idolem jest marlon brando. Znalazła matkę,której siostrą okazała się ta miła pani w blond włosach co pomagała Sam. widziała jak trent bierze narkotyki i powiedziala,ze nie moze z nim być.chyba,że coś zmieni i się pocałowali. on poszedł na spotkania , które pomagają rzucić nałóg . Na sam koniec wszyscy się rozjechali w swoje strony:)
