Hi, I got a house in Warsaw, is it a good idea to move to Poland?

A colleague of mine recommended this forum to me. My great grandfather was born in Warsaw and owned a block of flats there before the war. He and most of his family perished in Shoah. A few days ago I finally won the restitution case in a Polish court and I became the legal owner of that property. My question is: how bad is the idea of a Jew living in Poland? My mates tell me that this country is very antisemitic, but I wonder whether they exaggerate. I mean I'm aware of what hideous things Poles did to Jews during WWII (in many cases they showed more cruelty than Germans), but I'm guessing something has changed since then, right?

Well, I'm considering moving because I would like to keep an eye on my property - I will probably rent it. Also I've hear that everything is very cheap in Poland for an American.

Aaron if i can he honest... i don't think this a good idea... Im 22 and i had to leave poland 3 years ago... I live in UK now... I won't come back there... 'coz there is no possibility of development, you can not live on a good level... it's just not worth it... :(

Yes, but I don't trust the Polish agency. Maybe if I managed to sell it, but then, the market is slow these days.
