nienawidze latac samolotem..zawsze paralizuje mnie strach...dostaje atakow paniki...i dzieje sie tak od 7 lat kiedy to jestem zmuszona latac jakos raz w miesiacu po 3 godziny lotu..To jest masakra dla mmnie,zawsze musze sobie cos "walnac"na odwage bo inaczej za zadne skarby nie wsiade do samolotu,wiem ,ze to chore..ale juz tak mam...co polecacie ludzie?teraz czeka mnie 10 godzinny lot za miesiac a ja juz panika na maxa...

troche kicha, ale ty chociaz wsiadasz do samolotu, bo moj facet powiedzial, ze nigdy nigdzie nie poleci i zostaje nam sie tluc autobusem albo promem :P

calkowicie cie rozumie, tez tak mam. Im dluzej latam tym czsciej zdarzaja mi sie silne turbulencje, klopoty z ladowaniem, kieszenie powietrzne i Bog wie co jeszcze

Ja tez nie lubie latac samolotem a czasem w podrozy jestem po 14 godzin ale duzego wyboru nie ma przeciez tratwa nie poplyne ;) pozdrawiam.

Kieszen powietrzna to nazwa potoczna, czepiasz sie bez powodow "Air Pocket" is a completely non-technical phrase and it not used by pilots or anyone else involved in professional aviation. What you are referring to is air turbulence from rising or descending air and / or wind shear between masses of air moving in different directions, horizontally or vertically. To answer your question, so-called "air pockets" usually only cause changes of altitude of a few hundred, or at most, a few thousand feet. At an altitude of 10,000 feet above the ground an aircraft has more than enough room to recover unless it as was structurally damage (very rare) by severe turbulance. The only phenomenon that could conceivably cause an aircraft to abruptly lose 10,000 feet and crash is if it flew into the center of a thunderstorm during the "downburst phase" when precipitation begins to fall. Aircraft do not intentionally fly through thunderstorms, although there have been instances of aircraft taking off or landing beneath them that ended in catastrophe when an intense "microburst" of descending air forced them into the ground from low altitude.
